Sorry, that ain't that old. I've seen and even driven older and uglier. Guess we done got different standards than you southern folk.... Hell, in Wisconsin I've seen people out plowing with holes in the floor and doors, paint so ugly, it must of scared the metal away. We call 'em speed holes, for aerodynamics that is... :shakehead: You guys should see some of the "parts-togethered" "frankinstein trucks" people drive up here. It's great! :P

I have to agree... 1979 is still "new" within the context of old farm and hunting trucks. Heck, we have three trucks on the farm still running that are older.

When was the last time you say a LUV on the road and running? They are getting fairly rare, at least in my area. They weren't much of a truck as it was and this one looks pretty rough, but it is still going.

That was my point.

:shakehead: $500 for that?! Hmmm....I guess if it is in decent running shape and you really need a beater for hunting. LUV trucks were GM's first minitruck (Isuzu as previously noted).

I blew a little bit more than that for something a lot less practical, but an amusing addition for nice California days. Even got to take it out on a sunny Thanksgiving afternoon today. :banghead:
