Pedal position sensor / Rough idle???

I have been having a slightly rough idle for a few months now, I have felt my truck and two similar ones and mine seems to have a slight miss every now and then. Check engine light was not on, but I had Autozone read the codes. It came up with a pedal position sensor code. I have no loss of power and the throttle seems to be working fine. Today we tried revving the motor up to 1000 and still felt the slight miss. I have checked all the wires and they have the same reisitance, and changed the plugs, and changed the fuel filter - no improvement. Any suggestions???? Out of warranty now.

 

Also have a slight squeel from my AC compressor when the clutch is disengaged, sounds almost like a bearing going bad.

Read this, should hopefully answer some questions for you. I got the APP code myself and replaced it. Unfortunately, you can't order just the sensor. You have to get the accelerator pedal also. Fortunately, it was less than $100 at the stealership and only took me 5 minutes to R&R the part. Good luck.
