SIR COIL part #

Does someone know the part # for the SIR COIL (clockspring) for a 97 Tahoe 4wd ? I put a new sterring sensor in and turned the wheel and subsequently broke the clockspring, so the AIRBAG light is on constantly now. Also do you know where I can get this part ? Thanks in advance for the info, you guys helped alot with the trouble shooting in the first place.

According to the catalog tab on www.gmpartsdirect.com, 26087273 is the part you are looking for.

 

GM list is $141, they have it for $82.

 

Assuming its the right part, see for yourself, click the catalog tab, '97 Chevy Tahoe, Restraint System, Air Bag, Coil.
