Anothe Allison Query

So anyway I have an 02 2500HD with the 8.1 and Allison. Shortly after I got the truck the shift indicator quit which I heard was common. No big deal. Now at 44,300 miles the front pump decides to give up the ghost while I am driving around town. Pull out of a parking spot and can't figure out why there is tranny fluid in the snow. HMMM. The worst part is I was going four wheeling the next day and this is my tow rig. I was forced to borrow my fathers 99 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 360 and what a DOG! I can't wait to get my baby back ( and not the ribs ).

 

Has anyone had this problem before and is it common? What can I expect next?

Not a common prob that I know of. I have the same truck too and am very pleased w/the Ally.
