Want color matched Mirrors...advice...

I am having some body work done next month.. I need to have the driver side door replaced and painted.. The mirror was wrecked also..So that needs to be replaced..

 

I am considering foregoing the replacement stock mirror at a high price. For about $200 I can replace both mirrors with Street Scene

 

 

But they come in Black only.. Does anyone have these? Have they painted them? How did they come out?

 

Also do they have the Puddle Light?

I can't help you with the paint part, but I'm pretty sure those do not have the puddle light.

Oh well Also just trying to get the d**n part number for the replacement oem Glass inside the housing... It is heated.... no directional or diming...

I picked up a couple Tahoe/Suburban mirrors off of E-bay a year or so ago. One was around $30, the other around $40. I wanted them for the puddle light, but they also were heated. My truck doesn't have the rear windoe defrost or heated mirrors, but I also found a set of temperature controls on E-bay that have the defrost button on it. Within the next month, I plan on swapping out those controls and wiring up those heated mirrors.

 

You might be able to find some replacements on E-bay for a good price. Odds are they wouldn't be color matched though.
