indigo blue fender flares

Hello everyone.

I was just about to buy some fender flares for my 2000 Silverado from GMpartsdirect.com and I can't remember where I got the part number from ( 12496422 & 12496423 )  I want to check and make sure that those part numbers are actually for the painted indigo blue flares. can someone point me to the right place so I can double check those numbers?

thanks in advance.

Keep up the great posts, I'm learning allot about my truck and the things I can do to it that I would have never thought of with out you guys so thanks allot.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Shaners:  I have a 1997 Suzuki TL1000s, great bike to have fun on.

I do have one question for you guys. over the weekend I cranked up my torsion bars for more clearance because I'm going to be buying some larger tires soon. once I got the two sides level as best I could I looked at the bolts that I was cranking and they are not equal at all. I measured the two sides from the top of the fender well inside to the tire and they both are the same but the bolts themselves are not equal. does this matter??

no the bolts do not necessarily have to be equal distances on the thread.  I know onw of mine has about 1/2 inch left on the thread and another only 1/4".

Thats fine you do not need to worry

Just make sure you dont max it out leave some thread on it

I have a Yamaha GTS 1000 and I hope to have a new FJR1300 within the next 12 months...

that GTS, is that the one with No front forks? I like the looks of those allot. probably the best sport touring bike I've ever seen. The 1300 will be darn nice a well. good luck with getting that.

Ryan. thanks for the answer on the bolts. I thought I would be okay as long as the truck was level but I wanted another oppinion on that.

You are right about the GTS 1000.  "No front forks"!!!.  I have about 40K on her and will keep her forever.

The dealers are taking deposits ($500) for the FJR1300 with scheduled delivery in August.  I like the looks of what I've seen on paper, and the extra 45 HP and almost 100 less lbs would be great.  I want to see one and sit on one before I plunk down my deposit, so I'm figuring mid to late summer of 2003 before I'll get one (of course I'll still have to come up with the rest of the cash...  Hmmmm   IRA???  LOL )
