DRL's being reprogrammed ??

I have a '00 GMC Jimmy - 4X4 - 4.3L - 5 Spd.

I brought up something about this awhile ago and someone mentioned a dealer may be able to reprogram the DRL's so they don't go off when the turnsignals are used.

Can (or will) they do this ?

Ooop, yeah, that should have been CAN'T. I'm sure that's done to meet some Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for lighting and a dealer wouldn't touch that with a 10 ft. pole if we had the capability to change it, which we don't.
