acceleration bump

So i get in my truck to drive and get food for work. Driving at 70 MPh if i let go of the throttle and barely hit it again it waits about 1/2 sec then i see the rpm go up roughly 200-400 rpm's and a bump then it's fine any idea's. I called the dealer he said this was normal and it wa the torque converter unlocking?
