Here's what I found on another website:

GMC Sierra GT/Chevrolet Sport - Powered by the 5.7-liter V8 (1996 and newer trucks get the new Vortec engines) mated to a 5-speed manual tranmission or 4-speed automatic. Options include 15x8-inch chrome 5-spoke 454SS-type wheels with 275/60R15 BFGoodrich Comp T/As, Bilstien shocks, sway bars, and a 454SS-type air dam with fog lights. The body of these trucks receive a mono-chromatic paint treatment. The GMC Sierra gets "GT" decals. These trucks are available in both the fleetside and Sportside body styles.

I've never seen an extended Sport of GT. I'm not saying they didn't make them because I don't know, I've just never seen one in person. I've seen lots of regular cabs though.

Ah here's a topic I know something about.

The Sierra GT package (RPO BYP) was available on SWB regular or extended cab half tons from 1993-1994 in Canada/US and 1995 in Canada only (for some reason). It was optional only with uplevel trim and included body color grille and bumpers, the very cool decals on the lower doors, and some mandatory options like foglights on 2WD, and alum wheels w LT265/75R16 Wrangler TD blackwalls on 4WD. There were some other mandatory options, but nothing you couldn't get on an SLE. Z71 package was optional, but you did not get decals.

Colors were restricted to red/black/blue until 95 when emerald green replaced blue. The GT package also kept the regular mirrors, where the chevy sport had the little ones. The interior on the GT was no different than the SLE.

I ordered my emerald/tan int GT regular cab new. It still is my favorite truck ever-the monochrome paint looks great in the OBS. GM Canada records indicate 110 Sierra GT regular cab 4WD were produced.
