Hey guys i have a 2006 GMC Sierra with a 5.3L and a 460LE, My question is what would be involved in adding a Trans-Temp Gauge

 

I want a North Face Cluster but it doesn't have the Trans-temp, i would go with another cluster if it is possible to add the cluster?

the easiest way would be to swap out the cluster to an esclade cluster. It bolts right in with the same 4 screws and uses the same electrical connector. the acutal guage would be in the lower lefthand corner that is currently not used on your cluster. call Chris Jenter @ SOT Electronics, 1-800-442-4491. He repairs/sells/upgrades GM clusters, he helped me out on mine. the speedo stopped working, so I bought a esclade one and gained the tranny temp.

If you like the North Face cluster take a look at a Silverado SS cluster.

They basically have the same cluster (White Faced) with a trans.temp gauge.

Yep,Should.I think the only year there was an issue was on the '99's.

Ya, it is just a plug and play swap. It took me maybe 15 minutes start to finish.

So what was the issue on the 99? I remeber reading about them but can't remeber what ever came of it. I know a few with 99's have added one.
