running boards

[00Tahoe]

I have a 2000 Tahoe and was plannig on purchasing some running boards for it. I haven't decided if I should hit the dealer, ebay, or some other aftermarket business. What I would really like to know is what years are covered by the running boards that would fit my truck. I.E. will they fit all 00-04 Tahoes or are they specific to each year?

I have the factory ones on my 2005 denali xl and I was in north carolina and was pulling up the drivway at the house on sugar mountain that we had rented for the week of the new year this year and I got half way up a u shaped driveway and 3/4 of the way up I hit Ice and slid down the drive and ended rear in a ditch and if it wasn't for the stock running boards the whole under side of my truck would have been trashed the dealer said ( I also used to paint cars for a living I looked at it when it was on the rack) hope this helps.
