Another Leaking Delco Battery

The battery on my 2001 suburban is leaking again--the 1st time it had 20k miles on it and the dealer replaced it under warranty, as well as the cables and replaced the tray under it. We have the GMPP extended warranty on the truck and the battery is leaking again at 56K miles---i messed up the cables again. Any chance dealer would cover any of it under the extended warranty/battery warranty?

It all depends on what your extended warranty covers. There is always the fine print. I guess you have to read your warranty coverage very carefully, or call the dealer for clarification.

 

But, irrespective of your extended warranty, the leaky battery should have a warranty of its own, at least a pro-rated one.

If you bought or got an Ac Delco battery from your dealer then it has a six year warranty...Just ask..I know they would replace mine because at the dealer here they charge an entire 100 dollar bill for one
