I'm back... sorta

On February 10th, I had an 8 hour operation to remove a mass in my abdomen. Fun stuff. I finally got out of the hospital this past Sunday, the 19th. I'll be home recouping for another week or two. So, I'll have some time to stop in and visit and answer the occasional question.

I'll tell you right now that I won't be attempting to keep up with every question asked. If it's a question I can't answer without some work, I'll probably just pass it by.

I may come and go, visiting daily or disappearing for days on end. So don't get impatient for answers from me. My temper is somewhat short these days. :(

Tech, good to see you back. Definitely take care of you. Dad went through a bout with lung cancer, chemo, etc about 2 years ago and continues to rehab now so I can relate to how much a medical situation strains someone. Obviously you've been missed. Those of us on the staff and I'm sure everyone in this forum section appreciate your contribution and we're pulling for you to get better.

No one wishes to be sick. Life is precious. Relax, recoup, and come back when you're healed. We can wait.

I hope the operation went fine. If you are home, then the worst is over! There's nothing worse than being sick AND away from home.

I know what it's like to be at home recovering...you get more stir-crazy the better you recover. But, that's a good sign.

We will try to keep you occupied with our antics/truck problems till you say..."Get me the h*ll back to work, I can't stand it no more!".
