What did you do

Heres a breakdown of what I did, just in case you all want/need it for the future.

 

-Panic set in and I reverted to a more primitive frame of mind in a mental fight for survival.

 

-Severe denial and fear set in.

 

-Found an old desk and slept under it in the fetal position with my back to the room.

 

-Made crude hand weapons out of old PC's, and grunted UNGGGLEEHHHUUUUURG to all within earshot while hurling case fans with deadly accuracy at anybody prairie-dogging their heads over the cubicles every time I made the "UNGGGLEEHHHUUUUURG" statement.

 

-Blacked out

 

-Woke up covered in war-paint and wearing only an indian headress. (This probably has nothing to do with the outage, as it's a weekend hobby.)

 

-In my idle time, I learned that by planting itty-bitty seeds, I could grow an entire crop. Evidently, the same principal doesn't apply when planting pipes...Crack doesn't grow from them.

 

-Settled down from my roving madman of the office type lifestyle to raise said crops.

 

-When other people began to understand my unique crop-skills and started to congregate and settle around me, I had to establish a simple method of trade with system administrators and database administrators in order to keep the peace.

 

-Established my own religion, and sacrificed 37 staplers and an office chair to appease the new god I had created.

 

-Headed off a civil war over who was to provide the next batch of staplers, and a coup from the helpdesk over who was the next to lose their chair.

 

-Peaceably agreed that sacrifice wasn't a good idea to start with.

 

-Fired new god for proving to be utterly useless.

 

-Went back to old God.

 

-GM-Trucks.com came back up.

 

-Ahhhhhhhh.

 

So....What did you guys do?

Spent some over-due time visiting the 600rr.net and clubracer.net websites. The bike is, afterall, the reason for getting the truck.

 

But, im sure yall know how a new toy is. Gets a bit more than its share of the attention the first month or two.

Made an elaborate plan to start stalking my ex's dog, just to piss her off.

 

Ended up weeping in a puddle of my on excrement.

 

Then the site came back up and after a shower and my pills, I'm all better now.

It sucked, 12 midnight is 6am where I am this week. I had to work all morning because I had no place to go for a mental diversion.

I went out and inventoried my Amsoil stock, took about 37.3 minutes to accomplish, then came in and checked to see if the site was up, went back out and reinventoried my Amsoil stock again in case I missed some.

 

Yep, still have a case of 5w-30 and 4 SDF 30 oil filters.

 

Just glad it came back on line when it did. I was about ready to reorganize my entire Amsoil stock.

 

Our cat wouldn't leave me alone, he kept rubbing up against my flannel PJ's and furry slippers. It's not like it was that cold out.

That's nothing compared to what I did, but my lawyers, and the lawyers of all parties involved (including Anheiser-Busch, Ford Motor Co., P.E.T.A, Paris Hilton, and the U.S. Olympic curling team) said it would be best if I kept the whole ordeal "hush".
