trans fluid

i topped it so it was reading in between the hot marks, fluid was on the letter O, after a 1/2 hour driving/engine running. Will this be okay? Is it too much fluid or not enough? thanks!

The only time to check the fluid is when the engine/tranny is warm. Start engine, cycle through gears, check fluid with engine idling. Should be between the two top marks.

I would suggest that you check it after driving 20+ miles on a warm or hot day. One of the most common mistakes is for a trans to be overfilled, which is worse on the trans that it being a little short filled. In other words, what ever you do, do not take it past the full mark when it is good and hot.
