I just turned 1000 mile the other day so my truck is still smelling very new. I've washed it a couple time now and just wipe out the interior with a damp towel. The day will come I'll need to use something more on the interior.

I don't like armorall, it's too slippery and stinks in the summer when it's hot. I am wondering what you guys use to protect the dash and other plastic interior parts. Is there anything else I can use?

Keep using the damp towel!  That's all I use..

 

I hate armor all on anything except tires..  Its oily and attracts the West Texas dust.

My problem with Armourall is it reflects too much light off the dash in summer. Armourall used to make a "Low Gloss" formula but haven't been able to find it lately.

Try Aero 303.  Does not give that "Shiny" look.

I personally like Meguiars Vinyl & Rubber Protectant....however some might say it gives off the same shiny look that armorall does.  I don't think so though.

Lexol Vinyltex.  It is water based and won't hurt plastics like ArmorAll.  Aero 303 is very good too.

Since I like and use Meguires wax products, I tried some of the Meguires plastic protectant on the exterior plastic (Mirrors, bumper) and the first time it rained, it streaked all over my paint, chrome and everwhere! Didn't get around to trying any on the interior. But I have heard good things about the Aero 303. Think I'll try some.

Aero 303 is the shizznit!  Ordered a gallon refill from Overtons the other day!

I use tonneau tonic. I got it for my tonneau cover. Its recommended by extang for thier soft covers. It does a nice job on my interior parts. Its not shiny and doesn't seem to attract dust, and lasts for a long time. Its a water based product. I wouldn't use Amorall its not supposed to be good for your plastics or vinyl. Extang makes a point in its care of thier covers not use Amorall on it

I use their Natural Shine Protectant with no ill effects.  Works great for the interior and front/rear black bumper areas.

i have used tire wet  

 

nice finish not shiny like armor all

 

but i have also used a wet towel. that works well also

Yes, a wet towel tends to work quite well in between applications of some sort of protectant.

Armoral interior greaseless formula, not slick, not too shiny, smells good.
