Borla Vs. Magnaflow: Which Cat Back Would You Get

Borlas are well-made and a bit louder, but it's tough to beat the Magnaflow for all-around value. Even with money as no object, I would go for the Magnaflow (single-in/single-out) for the performance and use the savings for some other performance mod.

Forget price. They both fell from the sky and you can only fit one in your bed...which do you take ?

Folks, this is a TROLL! I had a debate with a guy on another forum (not vehicle related). I put my 3 year old Magnaflow system up against his brand new Borla system. His was shiney and new, but he showed NO dyno sheet for his. I showed the dyno sheet from Mangaflows site and he claims it is altered.

Honestly, I don't know, but his is looking for Borla fans from a GM site to throw in my face. He is looking for people to say that Borla is better than Mangaflow. It may be, but my aluminzed system cost a lot less than his stainless system with real gains. I claim "victory" by having the best gains for the buck while he is looking for "bling".

When you consider "bling", it is easy to beat out a 3 year old aluminzed system that has seen 3 winters of salt, but when comparing functionality and gains, along with sound, I feel my system was better than Borlas.

Anyone have any Borla dyno sheets? BTW, this guy has a newer Titan.

You won't find them for Borla unless they were done by an independent tester.

Not sure what a mfg. dyno test proves anyways other than their claimed HP/TQ gains that most independent tests don't validate.

Borla is more expensive but if Price Is No Object which would you take ? :banghead:

Would you take the Borla T304 Stainless Dual rear exit system which is made from superior materials or the Magnaflow which has a dyno showing double digit hp gains on their site?

My point exactly.

Both cat backs run similar pipes and cans. The difference is primarily in the materials used. A performance exhaust without induction upgrades is basically a nicer looking, better sounding fart box.

Agreed synergy only occurrs between the 2 mods w/ a custom dyno tune that marries everything together :banghead:

Gibson Should be Looked at  . I looked/compared for a while before I decided on Gibson Extreme Dual Exhaust Stainless Steel. Ok price, dyno sheet looked good and sounds good.

Either pick you choose it will be a hell of a lot better then stock. :seeya:
