Power Steering Cooler?????

From what I can tell it looks like I have a power steering cooler?? If thats not what it is someone please correct me! It doesnt seems that the power steering cooler would get hot enough to need an external cooler!

Yes, if it's a small, thin cooler near the drivers side headlight, it's a power steering cooler.

I looked at my truck and it has one too.  Never noticed it before.  Anyone know if it's a standard item or is it included with certain packages?

Power steering fluid gets screaming hot in a rack and pinion system, hence the cooler. Changing the fluid (if it smells burned, or looks like root beer) later in life or a rack flush

isn't a bad idea either.

would that be a thing long(up/down) strip kind of between the driver's side of the radiator and the left headlight?  It's visible from outside the grille only?(like the other cooler is)

Ah, most excellent...you'd think with all the coolers on the truck, that Chevy must've cut a deal with Igloo...haha, I kill me.
