A couple of Questions?

I just got a 2000 Chevy Ext. Cab Z-71, I want to get a louder exhaust for it.  My first question is, how loud are the 40 series 2 chamber flowmasters on the 5.3L?  (and by the way, when I say loud I mean LLLLLOOOOOOUUUUUUDDDDDD but legal of course!)  My other question is about tires, will 315/75/R16's rub badly on a stock height vehicle (with the torsion bars tightened of course)?  I tallked to someone with them and they said they didnt rub at all but I just wanted to make sure!  Thanks in advance for any help or comments

Have you considered just running the cats and no mufflers?  I've heard trucks like that before and they sound good...

 

I bet the 315's would rub, espescially in an offroad situation.

I've heard trucks running just cats as well with no mufflers, it sounds great. But is that illegal in most states, I'm not sure, I think it may be in Wisconsin? I have the same truck and I'm considering running Gibson Super Truck Exhaust. But I'm still waiting to hear what that sounds like. I too want loud...but not real loud in the cab, the wife and kid may yell.
