Roller rockers

Can someone tell me if installing a roller rocker set on a Sierra 1500 would be relevant or not? If so then what is the best deal on a set?

Roller rockers are great if you're counting on shaving 10th's of seconds off your 1/4 mile time, but for everyday driving, I wouldn't spend the money or time on replacing the rockers. I see no justification IMHO.

As hinted at before - you may already have what you're thinking of. The Gen III engines already have roller bearing rocker arms. What they don't have are roller bearing with roller tip rocker arms.

I recently put a set of full rollers on my truck. After adding Westers tuning, it's made an incredible difference. Then again, I have a '99 - with the lowest power level of all the NBS trucks (a whopping 255hp!). I bought the Harland Sharp 1.8 ratio set (part # SLS18), which is what made the big difference. If you just got a set of 1.7/1.75 ratio rockers, the best you'd see is about 10hp increase from friction reduction. Not enough to notice.

I got mine on ebay, about $350 for the set. That was cheaper than I could find from Comp Cams or SLP. Dunno of other brands, but I'm sure they're out there.
