Wired FM Transmitter

The sound quality of my Alpine Wireless FM Transmitter is so bad that I need to install a wired equivalent. Has anyone installed a wired FM transmitter (via antenna feed) for their aftermarket audio equipment? If so, what brand/model did you use? I did a search of FM wired transmitters and it looks like Pyle has one that is simple and does the job.

What are you trying to connect to the modulator? Satelite radio units have modulators made specifically for them vthat work wonderfully. You may also want to look into an auxilary input adapter for your factory radio. If it has CD changer controls, there is probably an adapter available

The FM wireless transmitter I have came with the Alpine LCD DVD player. It is not any way related to GM. No matter what station I have it programmed to, there is too much static.

Here is a good one for you. Make sure you get PLL. ONly $18 + shipping. You will need to buy a GM antenna adapter tho....it is slightly smaller than the standard antenna plug.

Dont know if your stock radio has a place for xm to plug into the back but if it does a PAC AAIGM9 will work. I have one on my truck. I had a bunch of noise on my dvd player too. I got a good ground loop isolator from circiut city and it fix the noise but then I found this and it works great. Gives you room to add something else to your sound system like an ipod or x-box.

Not exactly sure what that is; all I know is that I have RCA jacks out for my audio which leads me to believe I don't have the XM jack stuff.
