Dead Fuel pump?

I just went to the store to get dinner, truck started fine and then stopped and filled up on gas. Won't start. poured a little gas in the intake and it started for a couple seconds.

 

Checked fuses, good

checked loose wires, none

blew through fuel filter, good

tried to turn over motor and would expect fuel to shoot out from the filter when I hooked it back up to the pump side line.

checked relay on test bench and it works but couldn't hear it click on when I turn on the key.

Should it flow strongly like a strong stream, light stream or trickle out?

 

1994 4.3L V6 gas engine.

2 wheel drive.

New fuel filter as of 4 months ago

Sounds like its time for a pump.
