Overheating only on Gauge

Hi all new to forum have a little problem and need some help please.

I have a '95 Silverado 15004WD and my temp gauge inside the truck bounces between 210*and250* it will stabilize at 210* after about 10 minutes of normal driving my question is this what is making these false readings since I checked the temp at the Tstat and that was 195* and checked the temp at the sending unit and that was 195* also. I have replaced the temp sending unit, water pump, Tstat. I do not have any coolant loss either. Any ideas as what is wrong and what I can do to fix this problem? Thanks to all who respond.

It may be possible that you have 2 ECTS sensors, the 95 saturns had this, one for the PCM and one for the Temp gauge. In 96 they combined them into one. Not having a wiring diagram I can say for sure, but again, these were little tiny suckers in the side of the head.

thought so. that sensor is the engine temp switch, look on top of the intake manifold front to the left of the upper radiator hose out let, there is a sensor there screwed into the intake manifold that is you coolent temp sensor of your temp gauge.
