Coolant Leak

Hey guys...

 

So a while back I noticed I had some small coolant puddles under my pickup after I'd drive it for any length of time.

 

I havn't really been able to take much time to find it until now because I've been pretty bbusy with school. Today my ol' man and I got to work and it appears that the coolant leak is coming from the oil pan. This can not be good. What would cause cooalnt to find its way in your oil pan? Cracked head? What else?

 

Is there a simple fix for this or would it need a set of heads?

Where does it appear on the pan? the lip by the knock sensor? Any evidence of coolant on the oil dipstick?

Yea, thank god. Upon closer examination its leaking from the pump gasket. Lifetime Warranty on that puppy. Looks like tomarrow, I'll be puttin' in a free water pump and gasket.

Hey can i ask i think i have a leak at the lip of the front of my oil pan is this a simple fix please let me know if its more than just a gasket

I checked no oil on the dip stick
