XM Info button on TNR

i have a non-lux model, is the XM Info button suppose to do something? i have the XM Info Timeout set to OFF and i have never seen this button available. i do have XM..

I have a 2005 Z71 with the GPS Nav/touch screen XM. Same problem. Actually the Info button came on earlier today and I was able to see what was playing on XM even though I was on FM at the time. Then it went away.

 

Did you ever get this figured out? I called the dealership but they had no idea.
