Wait4Me Tune Concerns

Hey. I am interested in getting a wait4me custom tune. everything sounds great. however, my truck is a 97 Silverado with 230,000 miles. should i be concerned about putting a tune on a truck with this many miles? the truck is in solid shape with no mechanical issues whatsoever. what do you think? bad idea? will something break?

 

also is it possible to get a dual stage tune if i want to run 87 octane sometimes and 91 octane sometimes??? thanks!!!

Well maybe a compression test would be a good idea first.

 

But I would be more worried about the tranny with that many miles.

I agree with Mark!

Also, the dual octane tunes are only do-able in the 99 up LS1 engined trucks.
