Your thoughts on the H2?

With these new beasts just starting to hit the showroom floor, what are your thoughts about them?

All show, or all go?

I'd have to say they don't have as much "Go" as there big brother the H1, but still, they are quite the vehicle. It seems like a nice alternative to the suburban, and besides when you have you I'm sure you'll never get tired of telling people that you just got a hummer

I took a good look at one in a parking lot a couple weeks ago. More interior room and more practical than the original Hummer. I like the look. However, I still prefer my Av.

Haven't seen one in person but a friend at the local dealer is going to call next time they get one in. Not sure I'm giong to care for it. Just from the pics it looks like visibility would be poor at best. Gas mileage has almost got to suck. Don't remember what the interior is like but Im guessing theres not much "utility" other than passengers and off road ability.

Still its gotta be better than the H1. At less than half the price and with increased interior space, if it has 75% or better of the offroad ability of the H1 it would be killer fun.

The originally looks a whole lot better, more rugged and tough. I would almost feel cheated if I bought a new hummer, what happened to the hardcore off road machine I was expecting? Bringing down the price is great but keep the look, that is what sells a hummer!!!

I'm mixed about it. It looks nice. Probably a lot easier around town than the H1. Probably fits some trails better than the H1. A lot less inexpensive than the H1. Loses some off road abilites from the H1. Because it is the next "to have" vehicle, they will likely be hard to get ($$$$ over sticker). Soon all the soccer moms and posers will be driving these.
