The wife drove my 05 Z71 30 miles today in 4W high (on pavement). She said she didn't get over 60. Should I worry, anything Ineed to do? THanks in advance!

Yeah, one time I drove about 150 miles on the dry Interstate while accidently leaving it in 4 HI. I did about 75 and noticed it felt like it was driving funny but just shrugged it off. Never had any problems out of any of the 4WD components. Gas mileage suffered though. You should be fine.

Don't worry, the truck would have said something if there was a problem. Or locked 4wd out or something.

Lo would not have been any harder on it than 4hi other than engine RPM. I would change lube in case to be on the safe side as it likely got a bit warm for a while because of torque bind that it would have created and the extra friction it would have cause in the drive chain for front axle because of this bind.

Thats the way I feel,So the old woman does not drive ANY of my trucks!Extra keys are locked in the garage and no one is aloud in there.

You know, I'm not sure what it is but every vehicle of mine, the wife has blown out a tire! She doesn't even drive them often so you'd think any problems WOULDN'T happen to her... WRONG! If there's a problem with a vehicle, she'll find it! Just within the past few weeks she took the Mercedes out on an hour long business trip -- blew out the rear right tire. Okay, whatever... fixed it. Just the other day she took out the brand new truck with about 600 miles on it -- blew out the rear right tire. In her car the rear right tire leaks a significant amount of air constantly. WTF?

Hmm, no but now that you mention it there's a brick that's easily ran over on the right side of the driveway... Whoever built this thing went for an eloquent look but it's proved to be more of an annoyance than anything. Her last set of tires did the same thing, though... RR leaked like a civ... I think she has a rear right tire demon spirit on her...
