Does anyone know how to send a signal from the DVD player to the Nav unit to play DVD's on an 05 Tahoe? I heard that there is a box available that can enable you to do it for around 300.00. Any other way of doing it? Or at least make it so when you have it in park it will play them like I am reading the 07's do???

u wil need the pac-gm1 or pac gm2 if u have touchscreen. i ordered mine from jpcustoms.com, its an awesome site with outstanding customer service, U will aslo need usa spec dvd audio interface, the one at jpcustoms is plug and play, very easy to hook up. this allows you to play dvd sound through factory system. once installed your nav will dispaly a new screen called rse. the usa spec is around 100 bucks shipped.

also the pac-gm1 or gm2 has 2 video inputs so i have dvd and bak-up camera, works excellent in my cc.

i also bought the 6disc in dash cd from them.
