Anyone got one? My parents bought one a few weeks ago. It's a 05' model, but it was a dealer demo. 3 days after we got it we took it to Indianapolis, and the Hyrdo boost pump failed on it...so we had to wait for a week for GM to finally ship the pump..that was an intersting ordereal. Anyways, here it is, at the speedway the day before it lost power steering/brakes. It's a diffrent thing to drive, thats for sure. Because of the Regeneative braking...whata'll think?

Whats it feel like when you hit the brakes?

Man, its weird. It's like its putting on the brakes..maybe about 30%. Totally normal, but it's so cool. It sucks at towing. A 5,000 pound trailer, its only getting 9.0ish gas milage. By itself, it gets 21-23 mpg...and it also has the shifting too much problem, but I guess it's typical. Our old truck did that, but the rear end gears were supposed to make it easier to pull. It absotly hates overdrive withthe trailer..

You're never to tow a trailer with overdrive. That's what the tow / haul mode is for.

 

Read your owners booklet.

Tow/Haul mode doesn't stop the trans from going into overdrive.

Even with Tow/Haul mode my truck will go into overdrive when

pulling my camper.
