I am looking for new truck right now. I found this one on CL. She bought it as it sits brand new from the dealership. The truck has about everything that I would want on it. Have a look at the pic and her discription and let me know what you think its worth. I will be going to marrow to look at it. Thanks,

Jesse

She is asking $25,000.

Not sure if it's worth 25k. It's not really worth that here, but the market in the Bay area is sure to be different.

You can't swing a dead cat in a circle without hitting three ex-cab short beds around here. Two of them with a lift.

Certainly not worth 25 grand. The fact it's lifted would usually make it worth less, atleast to me it would. In the Northeast that would be a $22,000 max truck.

I'd second the $22,000 value thing. (not the swinging a dead cat in a circle thing  )

Man that's a nice looking truck!! :seeya: I don't think she's out of line asking $25,000 with it maxed out in options and added bling (wheels, running boards, grill, bedliner, etc.) The mileage isn't too bad either, but I'd try and see if she'd come down to the $22K range?

go to like KBB.com or other to find the "TRADE-IN" value. In theory this price is wholesale price. You can select the condition which changes the value. For 0-15K miles you pick perfect cond. For 15K and above pick the next one down. That's what the truck is worth.

With the rebates and deep discounts on the new ones, it devalues previous years as well.

As others have posted...lifted lessens the value of the truck for me anyways. Don't know who lifted it, etc. etc. That would go for any suspension mods as well, like baggin, and to the weeds, even a simple 2/4 drop with spindles. Actually I myself wouldn't look at any modded truck, stereo (besides basic head unit and stock speaker location), engine or otherwise...that's just me though.

Change the zipcode when checking the value on KBB.com. If the value is much less in say Las Vegas, $60 flight from San Fran to Vegas and a drive back.
