tire size question

hi,,

 

i have the factory equip 245/70 17 on the 17x7.5 wheels

i want wider tires,, what sizes i can go with and what are the considirations with a different tire size ?!

The optional size is 265/70/17, on the same wheel. This is also used on all 1500 4X4s. However, your speedometer is calibrated for the current OD of your tire wheel. a 265/65/17 would have the same OD as the tire you now have and should work just fine.

yep 265 is about as wide as you can go and keep the OD unless you steep up to 8-10 inch rims.
