:D I have a 2000 suburban with a 5.3, with 75000 miles. In the morning or when it is cold it will start fine. Also when I shut it off for about 15 minutes it will start fine. But If I let it set for A couple of hours and try to start it, It wil take two or three times to get it started. I had the fuel pump replaced. Anyone have any ideas.

 Thanks for the info . I will try that. I am glad I found this sight. :D

After letting the truck set for the 15 min see pull the vacum hose off of the fuel pressure regulator if gas comes out of it your fuel pressure regulator is bad.  I just had the same issue last week and when I replaced it I haven't had the problem since.  Go to this thread for other info and pics. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?...ssure+regulator
