Spray in liner removal

I had a TOFF liner done by the dealer(would rather of had Line-X but they did it for free w/ the truck) and it bubbled. They are having to tear it out and redo it. They say I won't be able to tell the difference when they're done. My question. What do they use to get it out and are there any lasting effects that I should be concerned about down the road. As far as chemicals or anything like that that may damage the bed.

I thought they grinded it down with an air sander.?

If it bubbled, they might not have prepped it correctly. Short cuts!!!

The smart thing to do is to NOT let them touch it, take it to a line-x dealer and let them look at it.

 

No way in hell I'd let them chizel, grind or whatever to get it up. They coudl just give you a new bed.

Talked to them today. Said they are having the TOFF dealer come up tomorrow to look at it. They apparently have some moisure in their resin, that's why it bubbled. I noticed from day one that it was alot softer than my Line-X. I am going to look top to bottom when they are done and if it's not right they will be paying for a Line-X or Rhino. My hands are somewhat tied at this point. I have to atleast give them the chance to correct it. If there's any damage to the bed, you bet your ass they'll be replacing it. Homey don't play 'dat. ..
