Hi Folks....I am a newbie here, I have an 03 Z-71 Silverado Ext. Cab 4X4.

I just bought new 285-75-16'' BF Goodrich T/A Ko's, I have just mounted them on 16 X8 Konig Wheels.

I searched and seen it answered already but with many different opinions....BUT

Will they fit.....will I need to trim the front dam?

Will I need to crank the torsion bars....if so how many turns??

Thnaks for helping a rookie!!

I have 285/75-16 NTG on the stock wheels, no trimming, no torsion bar adjustment, and no rub.

I have a 2000 GMC K1500 Sierra SLT Z71 4dr Ext Cab.

I put on 16x8 wheels with 4.5" back spacing with some 285/75/16s Phantom ATs. They rubbed a little, but I didnt have to trim.

I just bought a new set of tires after putting 82,000 miles on those Phantom ATs.

I purchased a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/75/16s. With these tires (and with the same wheels as above), I had to trim the inside front rubber wheel wells to keep them from rubbing. The more aggressive tread prompted me to trim this time. After the trim, no rubbing at full turns going forwards or backwards. I never had to crank the torsion bars with either set of tires.

With your BFGs, the tread is similar to the Grappers I have. You may need to trim and/or crank your torsion bars. I didn't want to mess with the alignment with mine, so I just trimmed.

Hope this helps
