Suburbans assembled in Mexico

Hey, all

My search for a 2003+ Suburban continues. A few that I've come across that have promise were assembled in Mexico (first number of VIN 3). I'm curious if anybody has any thoughts regarding the quality of these trucks, versus the ones assembled in Indiana. Any reason to be concerned?

Thanks!

I have a 2006 work truck assembled in Mexico. Since March, I've put over 10,000 miles on it. The majority of those miles have been on rough unpaved roads. So far, the truck is holding up very well, and doesn't have any rattles, or other problems (With the exception of the cheap a$$ General tires that GM decides to put on it).

I wouldn't be worried, they all have the same quality controls. I had a 1985 C - 10 (precurser to 1500) that offered an inline six cylinder built in Ramos Azipe? Mexico, so, they have been doing business there for years. I honestly wouldn't be concerned. Chevrolet and Latin America is like peas and carrots.
