ive got and 06 5.3 H.O. with a wait 4 me tune and all the tm removed , and you would think with 310hp 335ft lb it would do a burn out , but nope wont spin them at all. is there any other safty shi* besides tm that prevents it from spining the tires while at a stand still, is there a fuse i can remove to disable a something that prevents it . i dont want to burn them all the time but some times its to temping but to show off a lil bit , the bandit would understand this problem

Indeed the Bandit would.

And with my tune, I'm well north of 400 hp, and I can't even chirp them...Hell, I can hardly break traction turning a corner in the rain.

Doesn't matter when that mullet-head in the Foxbody is 4 cars back wondering how the soccermom just schooled his ass.

WOW i am kind of surprised to hear that i can break traction around a turn and chirp them but then again i do have a diffrent truck with a diffrent engine but i always thought they could burn em on the spot

i can break it around a turn , but at a stop, nothing, my dad works for a chevy dealership, and a few years back he had a demo that was the same truck as mine ext cab z71 with the 5.3 and it would roast them, it was a 2003. Before i got this 06 i had a 03 regular cab 2 wheel drive with a 4.3 and it would roast them also but my 06 with a v8 would do s**t , i think that is Bull shi* , i mean i dont want to do it all the time but every once in a blue moon , come on GM WTF!!

I can smoke the crap out of the tires powerbraking on the '05 government truck. 4.3L and auto, it has rear drums though.

My 6.0L won't even attempt to spin; it feels like there is way to much rear brake to get the tires to break free.

Obviously your tune didn't remove all of the torque mgmt code. Since your truck is drive by wire (being an '06) I can speculate the computer is definately your enemy here.

If I stand on it from a stop my '00 would light em up for at least 30 seconds with my old oem tires. Even with my ltx m/s it will roast and spin a bit (unintentionally).

i told jesse when i sent him my pcm back to fully remove all the tm engine and transmission, maby he didnt , idk if i and at a dead stop and have the wheels turns to pull on to another street and i punch it i can light them up leave about a 30 foot black mark with both tires , but if i have the wheels straight , nothing , if i try to power brake it wil just torque up and nothing

Beyond the torque management tables are engine abuse tables. These work by limiting how fast and how much the electronic throttle blade opens on the drive by wire trucks. There are about 30 different abuse and torque management tables. Some need to be shut off, others need the settings changed to get the off line power you need to spin the tires off the line.

I can roast them in an 04 but not in my 05. Jesse will never tell me what he actually does to my pcm when he sends it back. I have asked so many times, but everytime he fails to do so. Thats your 150 bucks for ya.

My 2002 YukonXL with the 5.3l won't even chirp the tires...period.

It has a wait4me tune, but I don't think Jesse removed much of the TM stuff.
