jlears Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 The getting to know your Rainer supp. that came with my vehic. says that it will remeber the A/C settings for up to two drivers, and can be recalled by pressing the 1 or 2 button for seat memory. Does anyone know how to store the setting in the first place. It also says that my seats will adjust to the saved setting depending on what key fob I use to unlock the door. This will not work either. Thanks John
GM-Tech Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 You store the settings by first setting everything the way you want it (temp, radio settings, seat, etc.), then hold the "1" or "2" button (not sure where it is on your vehicle... on the door panel somewhere I suspect) down until you hear it beep twice. Your key fobs should be numbered, but if anyone has messed with their programming, 1 could really be 2 and vice versa. In any case, once you've done the above setting procedure, it "should" work. I say "should" because you may have a setting in your driver information center that determines whether or not these things can happen. Sometimes you can set it so that none of this happens until you insert the key in the ignition rather than when you use the key fob. You need to read your owner's manual. I don't know that much about Buick though I'm sure it's similar to Chevy.

If i press the and hold the memory button down on the door panal it stores everything except for the A/C settings. As far as the key fobs are concerned the doors will unlock. I have to get in and press the meory button on the door for the seat and mirrors to move. I was just wandering since the manual says it will do it but I have yet to make it happen. Sorry for the long post. John
