Been lurking for a while and It was time to set up a account.

I just traded in my 2003 Silverado and got a 2006 Silverado crew cab and now I am looking for mud flaps

I've used the search option but it didn't answer my question

Should I get 'flat contour' or 'molded'? From GM direct, the molded flap w/ the bowtie are like $32 ea but then it says sold in pairs. So, is that the price for one or a set?

and then the flat contours are only $12? Are these things cheap? Do they look bad or not cover as good? I'm racking my brain and may be making a big deal of nothing but i'm confused.

So my question is does everybody my molded or is flat okay? Also does the GM OEM ones have to be drilled?

Thanks guys. Great site and I need to get some pics up of my ride.

The topic of mud-flaps was asked just about a week or so. Do a search. In that thread someone posted a picture of the 'flat contour' ones.

If you can't find that thread, let me know and I'll take a picture of mine and post.

I have the flat contour ones on my truck. They look fine to me.

I've heard the issue with the molded ones is that can eventually damage the paint. That's what I've heard anyways.
