Acc pedal is very sensitive

I have 2001 Denali and somehow, the acc pedal is very sensitive. Everytime I am going over a bump or hit a pot hole, acc pedal depresses or lifts off and makes the car looks hesitating.

How can I adjust this to make the acc pedal little more stiff?

If you have the electronic throttle control (aka fly-by-wire) then there's nothing you can do. My '03 truck has the same issue. If you have throttle cables then you can look into some throttle springs to add a little more resistance. That's all I can think of.

Yep, same deal with my 2003 (drive by wire). I didn't think they had DBW in 2001 though. Either way, in my truck I've pretty much learned how to feather it just right through the bumps.
