I can answer your 2nd question... Yes it is the cam that gives it the mild rumble... Different Cams can make it more mild or very very strong... As far as what the first guy did to make his that loud... maybe gut the cats? I dont know, I am still deciding what exhaust I want to go wiht..

This is what the guy says about that video:"Sound clip after cam install. LQ9 with TR 224 on 112 LSA. " What does all that mean? Also, could an aftermarket cam be installed on a somewhat stock engine or would other stronger parts be needed like rods or springs? Is installing an aftermarket cam detrimental to the engine?
