hey.. i just wanna know what you guys think or if you know if it will even work?? so i own a 2005 GMC sierra with a 5.3 and im going to throw on an LS1 intake manifold, LS1 heads with Manley springs and retainers and a 6.0 cam... and have it tuned. how much (if it will even work) differents will it make.. like how much of a horsepower gain do you think that i am going to get?? thanks!!

You should get some horsepower. There's a lot hidden away inside these engines. One thing I read somewhere said the 4.8 heads actually have a smaller chamber than a stock LS1, so if you want real power, that might be better. If it were me I would just get some after market heads and cam, rather than mix and match the factory components. But it's all worth a shot. Tell us what happened if you do it.
