?? Transmission Trouble ??

Hi All,

 

My 2004 Silverado Crew Cab 5.3 is making a terrible thumping noise as I come to a complete stop. It sounds like the battery (or something heavy like that) is tilting forward and slapping back when I stop. I feel the thump through the steering wheel and especially the brake pedal.

 

I've been struggling with rough shifting and 2nd gear start

since I bought it new (24,000 miles to date). The dealer already did the software reflash. They claim no codes no problem. I guess it's suppose to drive like crap?

 

I'm thinking broken tranny mount, bad valve body or slow solenoid. What do you guys think?

seriously sounds like the dealer cant say all that is normal.
