3500?

how come i can't get a 3500 reg cab 2wd?  i tried pricing one and i could only get a reg cab 3500 in 4wd.  also i coulden't get the 8.1 with it.  why does GM make it that way?

Must have happened on the switch to the new series.  Can't tell you their reasoning, other than they just must not have sold enough for it to keep its spot on the sheet.

i guess that was it.  both ext. and crewcab versions are avail with 2wd

I think it's probably that the car builder part hasn't been updated or it's just a bug in the code that they have to work out.

I'm guessing that next year we'll proably be getting some 3500 2wd reg cab long bed's for the laborers.  Only question is, will they get the 8.1 or the diesel  (in blue of course as is our company color)

Now the 8.1 part is probably just a bug they need to work out, but I don't think that not being able to get a 2wd regular cab 3500 is.  I try all the websites I know of that allow you to spec out vehicles, and none of them would let me make that combo.  They did make some for the 01 model year, but like Jp said, they probably didn't sell enough to keep it around.  Never know about GM though.
