I can't wait I pick up my new 2006 crew in the morning. First stop, the tire shop (the wife will never know) off with the 265/70 17 Bridgestone Duellers. On with the 285/70 17 BFG or toyos, I'm leaning tword the BFG a bit more money but I don't know if I can say I bought toyos. Now for the to fast part. I want to get a K&N air filter and a magnflow muffler. Can I should I? Is it to soon?

Thanks for the help

I have had BFG's and I just put Toyo's on my truck Monday. Love the Toyo's I do a lot of highway driving and the Toyo's give a nice ride. They are first choice of tire at my local 4 Wheel drive shop. They have tried everything and they think the Toyo is a great all-terrian. The Mud terrians are cool looking but my truck see more pavement that mud.

Nothing wrong with the BFG's they are tried and true. I can't belive how much more they cost now. I used to get them at Sears (285/70/R17) for $150 now they are over $200. That is about what I paid for the Toyo's installed this week too.

wrong forum, BUT i will answer anyway. Go with a 285-70/17 because the 75 is to high of a profile and the truck comes with 265-70/17 but i would honestly wait a few days, OR go with a 265-70/17 AT because then you keep stock sizes and the dealer can play the "No warranty because of tires" and they will. and the 285 will require some trimming. I would say wait until the motor is broken in to do any mods. get a few hundred miles, 1000 perferably, make sure that motor is broken in and if there are any problems than the dealer cant cop out under the mod umbrella. But it is your truck and your descision and these are just my opinions.

Good Luck and let me be the first to congratulate you on the new truck.

P.S. (Go with the Dueler AT Revo, i have them and love them, and they wont hurt your gas mileage as bad as a BFG would.)
