I just bought this unit off of ebay it states that it must have the Y91 code to work right so I hope that it means it is for the Y91 code trucks as mine is. It is a silly worry I know but I was uneasy with the verbage in the ad.

 

What NAV cd is the latest for a 2006 NAV unit?

You need to look for a 15800001. That's what I installed in my 2003 Denali last month.

I know this post is old but what was determined? Other than it would not work on this particular application (Lux).

Is this a Non-Lux unit or Lux unit with different wiring harness?

Salvage yard has one near my home, I am wondering if it will Plugin & Play after programming, in my 2005 Silverado 3500 NON-Lux. Looks & measures like everything is right Din size, however mod will have to be done to the front bracket mount to attach to dash components.

Did anyone ever get this model to work in the GMT800 series pick up?

All I can find on it's label is it is a 06 GMT201 TNF

Why do you keep trying to buy a Factory unit. I installed a Pioneer AVIC Z2 indash nav/DVD unit with a built in 30gb Hard drive. I will fit in your dash with some minor modification to non visual pieces inside the dash. I've had it for over 2 years and I am extremely happy with the radio. The one I bought came with Blue tooth and a back-up camera.
