anybody just BARELY lower an 02 dually?

i've got an 02 e/c 2wd dually.

i don't like the way it sits (like a 4wd)

i also don't like the looks of those little 215/85/16's

i'd like it to sit like a dodge 2wd dually.

y'know, with that slight rake & the fenderwells full of tire.

i DO NOT want to "slam" it with a high dollar bell kit or anything like that.

 

anybody got any experience/ideas with this?

[Haulin' 8.1]

Velvet ride rear shakles and a slight untwist of the torsion bars will level it out about 1" lower. It will ride nicer but you'll need some stiffer than stock shocks to maintain rear axle control. I used some Rancho RS5000's with excellent result.
