Spark Plugs

I know changing spark plugs is fairly simple but I have a 98' GMC Z71 350 Vortec and I bought new plugs and wires and I am wondering if theres any problems I might encounter on this little project and what I need to look out for. My truck has 77,000kms on it and I think its about time to change them. Also I was wondering if I should change distributor and rotor while I am at it. Thanks

Whenever I do a tune up, I always replace the cap, rotor, and plugs together, unless I'm troubleshooting to see which is causing the problem. The wires I usually let go unless I ruin one of them trying to get it off, or if I know I've got one that's bad.

Well I changed them today, it was nice and easy to do, I just changed the plugs and wires and left the distrubutor and rotor alone. My old plugs were worn a fair bit but looked quite normal. My engine must be running ok lol. I'll have to wait and see if I get an improvement in gas mileage. I put Bosch Platinum +4's in along with Bosch Platinum wires.

I hope you have better luck with bosch. IMO they are junk and you will have a miss one day and you will have a dead plug. I would have went with gm iridiums and forgot about them.

HAHAHAHA..

I put some bosch in my 94 T-bird supercoupe once. I had one go dead. You don't want to change plugs in an SC!
