clm7214 Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 According to Kerry I am stupid. It was funny because of how stupid the article and the writer are, and that MSN thought it was worthwhile news. And its stories not storys.

And its stories not storys. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What does Kerry have to do with the price of rice in China (or this article)? I thought this was amusing. This guys serious too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And it's "guy's" not "guys".
gave20 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 What is the fascination with the price of gas. If other consumer goods like milk or chips were posted on big signs would we have a public outcry when the price of Lays potato chips increases $.02? Would we have news articles on how to increase the amount of servings per bag of chips?

You are right though, we never get so upset when other prices go up more drastically than gas.
vortec345 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 we should ask ... did his mother have any kids that lived ? LOL

If people spent as much money on one other consumer good as we do on gas, then yes, there would be people trying to increase the "amount of servings". Why do people always wanna compare apples and oranges, or in this case gas and chips?
drumset5994 Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 You'd think this guys' ears would cause wind drag. Jesus Christ...somebody throw him a peanut.
drumset5994 Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I feel very honored Thank you!! I kept watching the video and what i heard was "gas prices increasing..." What i thought was "blabbity blah blah my ears could stop a convoy of Peterbuilts"
RandomTX Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 The sad part is I heard this on another news broadcast. DUMBO, perhaps daylight running lamps should be taken away as well. Gasoline is burned to generate the energy for those lights and two days before the day after tommorow global warming will be here.
mmmikkke Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Honest people don't try to kill the messenger when they don't like the message. Look at this guy's message, and argue with *that*. I personally know of two fat people who purchase larger vehicles simply because they don't want to look funny squeezing into a Toyota Corolla. So if fat america is driving larger cars--or SUV's if they're *really* fat--I could see how that is increasing the consumption of gasoline overall. Higher demand leads to higher prices, all other things kept the same.
