I have the new 2007 silverado, and understand that the harness is just a harness and not a plug in like the pre 2006 trucks....can anyone tell where to find it????

thanks

The tech doesn't work here 24/7. :) Here's some info for you, but as far as I know, this only goes up to 2006. I honestly don't know if 2007 is the same. Also, see if you have option U86

Condition/Concern:

Owners may question the location of the blunt cut Auxiliary Brake Controller Wiring Harness RPO U86.

Recommendation/Instructions:

This harness runs from the rear 7-way trailer connector to just after connector C126 (rear of right front tire near frame rail, see eSI Document ID # 1558099). The Dk Blue blunt cut wire (Circuit 47) is taped to the harness.

ok ive located the harness, according to the manual, but i am not getting a 12 volt signal in red/black wire which is the +12v. i also dont get a brake signal in the blue/white wire when depressing the brake. I have put my stud in the main fuse box under the dash and i have 12v back at the seven way plug. I am stuck at trying to get power in the wires under the dash though....anyonehave any ideas???

I also checked every fuse inside and out, they are all there and working.

thanks

this is the prob i'm having...if i read correctly, i think i have to connect two add'l wires to the fuses under the dash?...i hooked up the prodigy brake contoller and figured i'd have power to it, but do not. course mine is an '07 yukon so it may be different...
